Robert W. Smith III

Robert W. Smith III, 28, Altoona, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, of natural causes.

He was born April 9, 1989, in Altoona, son of Robert W. Smith Jr. and Linda J. Houck .

Surviving are two children: Mercedes and Robert W. Smith IV; his father; his mother, Linda J. Santore and stepfather, Vincent; two siblings:  Jessica Santore and Adam Hicks; a stepsister, Karrie Patterson; his grandparents: Susan and Gerald Mock; two nieces, Mariela and Mulani; and a friend, Samuel Hicks who helped raise him.

Robert attended Milton Hershey High School. He was a driver for Salvation Army.

He was a member of Crossroads of Altoona and Trans4mation Church, Altoona.

Robert enjoyed his family, music and was an avid fisherman.

Friends will be received from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service, Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Memorials may be given to the family.
