Scott G. Stultz, 80, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Joliet, Il, son of the late Henry and Anne (Greene) Stultz. He married June C. (Ritchey) in 1958.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years; two daughters: Lisa Bodenski of Duncansville and Jennifer Halpin in KY; grandchildren Sean, Pashia, Ashley, Amanda ; and a sister, Susan Badner in DE.
Scott was a 1955 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. Graduating in 1959 from Penn State University, he was a 2nd Lieutenant in ROTC, and an essential member of the PSU golf team.
He was proprietor of and retired from Stultz Insurance Agency, and served in the US Army. He was a member of the Scotch Valley Country Club and attended First Presbyterian Church, Hollidaysburg.
Known locally as a golf legend, Scott won countless tournaments and set numerous records. For over 20 years, he shared his passion for the game through the mentoring of junior players on the North East Junior Golf Tour which he owned and operated. Additionally, he contributed countless hours to the Hollidaysburg Area Golf Team.
At the request of the family, all services are private. It was Scott’s wish that any gifts of sympathy be given as a donation to the Hollidaysburg Golf Team.
