Shirley M. (Ingram) Wilson, 86, a resident of The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Woodrow Wilson Garden Apartments, Altoona, died Wednesday, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harry and Erma (Rossman) Ingram. She married Robert H. Wilson on July 5, 1952, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1985.
Surviving are two daughters: Beverly Green and husband, James, and Tina Beals and husband, Thomas, all of Altoona; a son, Robert Jr. and wife, Jennifer, in New York; four grandchildren: Robert DeBartolome, Christina Skinner, and Lindsey and Jared Green; three great-grandchildren; four sisters: Susie Ingram, Kathy Ingram, Linda Ingram and Doris Hainsey; and six brothers: Bill, Ray, Rich, Danny, David and John.
She was preceded in death by two siblings: Rosella and Stanley.
Shirley graduated from Hollidaysburg High School, class of 1951. She retired from Tritex as a sewing machine operator.
She was a member of the Lakemont Community Group and attended Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg, where she was a member of the Stitch & Sew Group.
Shirley enjoyed her family, traveling to Cape May, and sewing.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Pastor Ralph W. Hamer officiating. Interment will be at Presbyterian Cemetery.
