Twila M. (Focht) Snyder

Twila M. (Focht) Snyder, 85, Duncansville, died Friday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Howard and Sylvia (Bousom) Focht. She married Dean E. Snyder in 1956.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years; three daughters: Donna L. McCoy of Roaring Spring, Sylvia L. Boyles in Georgia, and Tammy S. Knepp of Duncansville; four sons: Dean R. of Hollidaysburg, Richard P. and William J., both of Duncansville, and Matthew L. of Hollidaysburg; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Glenda S. Lockard of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by a son, John.

She was a member of Foot of Ten Independent Bible Church, where she was involved in Caring and Sharing Ministry.

Twila enjoyed collecting dolls, ceramics, sending cards and scrap booking.

Friends will be received from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Foot of Ten Independent Baptist Church, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m., Pastor Dave Huston officiating. Interment will be at Dry Run Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
