Abigail Jean (Kauffman) Lytle-Bigelow

Abigail Jean (Kauffman) Lytle-Bigelow, 101, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday. She was born in Mifflin, daughter of the late Clair and Sara (Berry) Kauffman. She was first married to Rev. Robert Lytle and then to William G. Bigelow, who both preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Judith J. Fennessey and husband, Paul of Roaring Spring; a stepson, William G. Bigelow II and wife, Debra; and two grandchildren: Kyle and Claire.

She graduated from Altoona High School, Altoona School for Secretaries, and Moody Bible Institute. Abigail was a member of Altoona Alliance Church and involved in many church ministries and activities. She was a missionary in Brazil and a pastor’s wife for 30 years.

Abigail enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to gospel and classical music, working on the computer, volunteer work, and spending time with her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, May 3,2022, at Altoona Alliance Church with Pastor Tim McGarvey officiating.

Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.
