Aimee Lynette (Carper) Peterman, 76, of Duncansville, passed away Sunday at Hilltop Healthcare. She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Merle and Gladys (Casner) Carper. She married James G. Peterman in 1970.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years; a daughter, Brandee Horton and husband Harry of Altoona; two sons: Jason and wife Rhonda of Altoona, and Brent and wife Manndilyn of Altoona; and many grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Reagan and Bradley.
Lynette graduated from Central High School in 1965 and was a homemaker and retired from North American Communications as a receptionist.
She was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Riding Club, Bellwood Broncs, and Homers Gap Civics.
Lynette enjoyed cooking, making cross stitch blankets for her grandchildren, and reading mysteries and love stories. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching gameshows on television. She loved her grandchildren and cats.
Friends will be received from 3-5pm Monday July 1, 2024 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 5pm.
