Andrew J. Wolford, 23, of Altoona, passed away Saturday after an automobile accident. He was born in Altoona, son of Thomas and Teresa (Mielnik) Wolford.

Surviving are his daughter, Haven and her mother, Kamryn; his parents of Altoona; biological father, Patrick Bailor; grandparents: Mike and Betty Wolford and Mark and Karen Mielnik; three sisters: Lillian, Isabelle, and Makayla; a half-sister, Mallory; and two brothers: Joshua and David.

He was a 2021 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and worked as a forklift operator at Walmart Distribution Center.             

Andrew enjoyed time with his family, especially his daughter, hunting, sports, and soccer.

He shifted the atmosphere in the room and had the gift of making people smile and laugh.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4pm Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Center City Church, Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm with Pastor Mark Mielnik Jr., officiating.

Private interment at Alto Reste Park.
