Annabelle A. (Whipple) Wagner, 97, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at Garvey Manor. She was born in Williamsport, daughter of the late Tyson and Bessie (Wright) Whipple. She married James Wagner in 1947, who preceded her in death in 1984.
Surviving are a daughter, Diane Madden and husband Dave, of Hollidaysburg; three sons: James and wife, Rosemary, of Hollidaysburg, Harry and wife Elizabeth, in KY; and Robert and wife, Mary, of Duncansville; 15 grandchildren: 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Scott Madden in 1986; and six siblings.
Annabelle was a 1945 graduate of Hepburn High School and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and Spade and Trowel Garden Club, Hollidaysburg; The Red Hat Society; and St. Michael Catholic Church where she was a part of the ladies’ guild.
Annabelle enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Friends will be received from 10am to noon Monday, February 24, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 301 Spruce St., Hollidaysburg, PA, where a funeral Mass will immediately follow at noon with Fr. Alan E. Thomas, Celebrant.
Private interment at Calvary Cemetery.
