Annette (Mellott) Krider

July 10, 1938 – July 9, 2024

Anette (Mellott) Krider, 85, of Roaring Spring, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Saxton, daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Soyster) Mellott. She married Merrill Krider, who preceded her in death in 2015 after sharing 57 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Metzger of Roaring Spring; a son, Tim Krider of Hollidaysburg; four grandchildren: Thomas, Kylie, Amanda, and Ben; eight great-grand-children; and a sister, Lee Brinton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mike in 2020, and three sisters: Betty, Ruth, and Nancy.

Annette graduated from Saxton-Liberty High School in 1956 and was a homemaker and Christian.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and working out with her friends at the YMCA.
