Arthur L. Austin

Arthur L. Austin, 82, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday at his residence.  He was born in Fairmont, WV, son of the late John and Louise (Pitzer) Austin.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Gloria (Powell); a daughter Jenny Austin in MD; a son, Arthur “Buddy” Austin II and wife Diane of Altoona; two grandchildren: Daniel and Eli; a sister, Dianna Morgan and husband Steve in MD; and many nieces and nephews.

Art was proprietor of Austin Texas Hotdogs, and retired from Burgmeier’s Hauling, where he worked in sales.

He was a 50-year member of Mountain Lodge No. 281 F&AM.

Art enjoyed taking care of his family, and spending time with his grandchildren.
