Audrey L. (Grace) Hamilton, 95, of Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Saturday. She was born in Saxton, daughter of the late Inzy and Elsie (Donaldson) Grace. She married Richard L. Hamilton, who preceded her in death in 2011.
Surviving are three daughters: Sandra Kovensky and husband Michael, Sharon Jenkins and husband Tom, Debra Robison and husband Stephen; a son, Gary S. and wife Erin; seven grandsons: Christian, Noah, Zachary, Joshua, Richard, Brandon, and Taylor; fifteen great-grandchildren; three sisters: Betty, Elsie, and Shirley. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Jordan and Brent; seven siblings; and her dearest friend, Don Rupe.
Audrey was a former member of the Mercy Hospital Socialites, a ladies sewing club, and the Golden Nuggets.
She retired from JC Penney’s and attended Frankstown Park Missionary Church.
She enjoyed shopping and her family was her life. She was an independent, strong woman with life-long faith. Audrey was kind, generous and had a naturally sweet nature.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
