Barbara Louise Gray, 92 of Altoona, passed away Tuesday at Garvey Manor. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harry G. and Dorothy M. (Smith) Lykens.
She married Richard D. Gray in 1958, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Lana Leavy and husband Roger in NY; two sons: Clifton Gray and wife Cornelia of Duncansville, and Rob and wife Trish of Hollidaysburg; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and a dear family friend, Kathy Dawar.
She was preceded in death by a son, Blake, in 2020.
Barbara graduated from Altoona High School and was a homemaker and a childcare provider.
She was a non-denominational Christian and enjoyed crocheting golf towels and tole painting. She loved reading her bible.
Friends will be received from 11am to 12 noon on Saturday November 4, 2023 at Sorge Funeral home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon. The funeral will also be live-streamed at sorgefuneralhome.com.
