Barbara J. (Baker) Smith

Barb J. (Baker) Smith, 70 of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday at her residence.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Sheldon and Catherine (Snyder) Baker.  She married Barry Smith in 1990.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years; a son, Barry Jr. and fiancée Nikki Panek of Hollidaysburg; a grandson, Grant; and three sisters: Nancy Mastos, Kimmy Baker, and Donna Sue Lee.

She was preceded in death by three siblings: Vicki Detwiler, Kay Baker, and Dutch Baker.

Barb was a server at Buster’s County Seat Restaurant and retired from Presbyterian Village after 15 years in housekeeping.

She enjoyed flower gardening, making people laugh, and spending time with her grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Altoona Full Gospel Church, 120 Roswell Street, Altoona, PA 16602.
