Barbara E. (Carlson) Vicars, 63, of Altoona, passed away Saturday at her residence. She was born in Houston, TX, daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Johnson) Carlson.

Surviving are her husband, Terry; two daughters: Candice and Nicole; a son, Justin; seven grandchildren; and her boyfriend, Scott.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda McBride and a brother, James.

Barbara graduated from Newmans High School in Houston, TX.

She loved her grandchildren.

All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home.
