Becky Sue (Knipple) Thomson

May 17, 1953 – July 1, 2024

Becky S. Thomson, 71, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of Peggy (Neuhart) and the late Raymond Knipple.  She married Ken Thomson Jr. in 2001.

Surviving are her husband of 23 years; a daughter, Amy Stone and husband Paul in MD; a son, Brian Woomer and wife Dawn in CT; six grandchildren: Brianna, Alethea, Kayleigh, Lucas, Ayeden, and Anna; her mother of Hollidaysburg; and a mother-in-law, Ruth Joann Thomson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Kendall in 2023.

Becky graduated from Altoona High School in 1971 and was a van driver for the Altoona School District.

She was a member of the former Ladies Sunday Bowling League at the Bavarian Aid Society.

Becky enjoyed sewing, word puzzles, and bird watching.  She loved spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 10am-12 noon on Saturday July 6, 2024 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon.

Private interment at Alto Reste Park.
