Benny R. Port Sr., 73, of Altoona, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Rosie (Yon) Port.

Surviving are two daughters: Tammy Port and Wendy Mahon (Ron); a son, Benny Port II (Jinnette); his girlfriend, Patricia Quarry; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two brothers: Richard and Dave.

He was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Benny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing guitar.

There will be no public services at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
