Bernard D. “Benny” Stapelfeld, 19, of Duncansville, passed away unexpectedly in Harrisonburg, VA. He was born in Tampa, FL to his adoring parents, Ben and Christina Stapelfeld.

Surviving are his beloved sister, Corie; his mother and partner Barret Ferre of Duncansville; father and step-mother, Katie of Hollidaysburg; maternal grandparents : Judith Greene and Dennis DeCos; paternal grandparents: Ben and Cathy Stapelfeld; aunts: Corie Wider and Erin Borzellino (Nick); an uncle, Clark Stapelfeld (Annie); cousins: Nina, Giorgio, Catherine, Emilia, Winston, Frederick, and Linus.

Benny graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 2023 and attended James Madison University, where he was a member of the Boarderline Club.

He enjoyed playing and watching baseball, he loved music and watching movies with his parents. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and his many friends he made throughout his life.
