Betty I Beltz

Betty I. (Smith) Beltz, 98, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Fred and Bertha (Woods) Smith. She married Charles H. Beltz Sr., who preceded her in death in 2013, after sharing 70 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda J. Bonneau (Phillip); six grandchildren: Scott Helsel, Timothy Helsel (Stacey), James Helsel (Virginia), Stephanie Walls, Janet Larson (Tim), and John Beltz (Stacy); nine great grandchildren: Brandon Helsel, Kayla Estep (Walker), Michael Helsel, Owen Helsel, Tyler Helsel, Ethan Walls, Bailey Lukens, Josh Beltz, and Corissa Beltz; and two great-great grandchildren: Kolton Estep and Emerson Estep.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Charles H. Beltz Jr. and James Beltz; and four sisters.

Betty was a member of Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church, where she was the secretary for 30 years.

She enjoyed bowling, fishing, making quilts, and painting.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4pm Monday April 15, 2024, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm with Pastor Ken Beichler officiating.

Private Interment at Alto Reste Park.
