Betty Campbell Obituary

Betty G. Campbell, 86, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born in Duncansville, daughter of the late A. Clair and Mary E. (Yeckley) Baker. In 1963 she married Floyd A. Campbell and he preceded her in death December 6, 2006.

Surviving are: a daughter, Judy Stitt; a grandson, R.G. Stitt; and two brothers: Warren and Glenn Baker.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Audrey Baker, Doris Bristow and Ruth Baker.

Betty attended Hollidaysburg Area High School. She was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg. She was a member of the church choir, the women’s guild and the Chimrock Squares.

Betty was the co-founder of Campbell’s Sporting Goods, Hollidaysburg.

She enjoyed camping, modern western square dancing, gardening and canoeing.

Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.with a funeral service at  4:00 p.m.Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., with the Reverend David P. Haydu officiating. 

Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg.
