Betty Mountain Obituary
Betty L. Mountain, 91, Hollidaysburg, died Friday, August 24, 2018, at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
She was born March 16, 1927, in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Harry L. and Mary E. (Kuhn) Robinson. She married Kenneth E. Mountain Sr. in 1947, and he preceded her in death in 2014.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Gicking and husband, William, of Hollidaysburg; a son, Kenneth E. Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Duncansville; five grandchildren: Jill McConnell, Julie Hanlon, Joy Bell, Jennifer Marcy and Kenneth E. III; eight great-grandchildren: Ethan, Parker, Lucy, Alyssa, Abigail, Gavin, Sawyer and Sloan; and a brother, Robert of Hollidaysburg.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rebecca; and two brothers: Harry A. and Richard.
Betty graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1944 and was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg.
She enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Interment at Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg,
