Betty Rutola Obituary
Betty L. Rutola, 90, of Altoona, passed away Monday at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
She was born in Altoona, and was raised by her mother, Helen Himes, and stepfather, Elio Cassicioti.
She shared 65 years of marriage with her husband, William L. Rutola, who passed away in 2014.
Betty is survived by two daughters: Debrah Fogal and Cindy; three sons: Bill, Ronald, and Joe; twelve grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and two stepsisters: Helen and Jeanie.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather.
Betty attended Altoona Area High School, and was of the Methodist faith. For over 10 years, she worked as a prep cook at Granny’s restaurant in Altoona. She enjoyed spending time with her cockatoo, Tom, watching NASCAR, and crocheting.
At the request of the family, all services will be private.
