Betty Yingling Obituary
Betty L. Yingling, 78, of Altoona, passed away Thursday at her home.
She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Holsinger) Harter.
She is survived by five daughters: Robin, Rebecca, Rhonda, Darlene, and Dolores; and her first-born granddaughter, Teresa Feather, along with many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Richard and Robert Jr.; a sister, Wanda; and two brothers: Charles and Merle.
Betty was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, and worked as a caregiver at Hillview Chateau Senior Living Center. She was cared for by her daughter, Rhonda, and grandson, Richard, with whom she enjoyed spending her time. Betty also enjoyed crocheting, putting together puzzles, and visits from her grandchildren.
A private service for Betty will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
