Bonni J. (Bookwalter) Lindberg

Bonni J. (Bookwalter) Lindberg, 72, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Cloyd and Constance (Campbell) Bookwalter. She married Carl Lindberg who preceded her in death in 2017 after sharing 31 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Jamie York (Joshua) of Duncansville; a grandson, Jackson; two sisters: twin, Conni Miller, and Patricia Marks; and nieces and nephews: Misti Pechtold, Tammy Petrou, Jenn Shade (Sean), Kris Miller (Jenna), Matthew Marks, and Christine Marks;  great-nieces and nephews: Michael, Tyler, Morgan, Jonathan, Ryan, Kyle, Logan, Ranger, and Crash; and many close cousins and family.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Sherri George and Willard Bookwalter and a nephew, JJ Petrou.

Bonni graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1970 and retired from the Blair County Courthouse in the Sherriff’s Office.

Bonni was a breast cancer survivor and donated a kidney, to her aunt, Nancy. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4pm, Monday, April 28, 2025 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 4pm.
