June 18, 1929 – May 24, 2023

Bridget B. Schucker, 93, of Altoona passed away peacefully at the Lutheran Home in Hollidaysburg when an angel came and took her hand to go home on May 24.  She was born in Robertsdale, the daughter of the late Guy and Minnie Gambacurta. 

Surviving are 2 siblings: Juliet Corella of Merrittstown and Danny Gambacurta of Hollidaysburg; daughters: Nancy Riley, Barbara Geist, and Dawn Schraff; grandchildren: Dustin Riley, Angela Captain, Bridget Sorichetti and Ciara Ellis; and great grandchildren: Tyler Riley, Kyla Riley, Luke Captain, Rowen Sorichetti and Alexis Ellis. 

She was preceded in death by spouse Donald L.; brothers: Ralphie and Henry; and grandsons David Riley and Jason Riley.

Bridget was an avid gardener, bingo player and shopper.  She loved spending time with family.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5pm Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 5pm with Rev. Dr. Barry R. Folmar officiating.
