Carl V. Moyer

Carl V. Moyer, 70, of Duncansville, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late David Sr. and Velma (Leighty) Moyer.

Surviving are a daughter Michelle Moyer of Duncansville; 11 siblings: William and wife Vicki, James and wife Belinda, Rita Moyer, Mark and wife Kim, Joan Moyer, George and wife Julie, Martha Reese and husband Christian, Barbara Moyer, Kenneth and wife Becky, Virginia Clapper, and Daniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul T. Moyer Sr. in 1997 and David R. Moyer Jr.in 2018.

Carl graduated from Central HS 1973 and retired as a Carman from Norfolk Southern.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and martial arts.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
