Carl A. Salyards Jr., 72, of Altoona, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Carl A. and Anna M. (Burket) Salyards.

Surviving are two sisters: Carol Fellabaum of Altoona and Marcia Salyards of Shippensburg; three brothers: Leon of Dover, John of Altoona, and Jeffrey in LA; and his ex-wife Kyong S.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Dwayne, Donald, and George; and two sisters: Paula Fennessey and Mary Panek.

Carl served in the US Army and worked for SKF as a machine operator. He enjoyed going to casinos and antique collecting.

All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
