Carol L. (Thomas) Barefoot

Sept 29, 1944 – May 26, 2025

Carol L. (Thomas) Barefoot, 80, of Altoona, passed away Monday.  She was born in Lewistown, daughter of the late Jess and Betty (Haller) Thomas.  She married Jordan F. Barefoot in 1994.

Surviving are her husband of 31 years; three sons: Douglas Gracey in WY, Michael Gracey in TN, and Christopher in CO; three stepsons: Jordan Barefoot in HI, Adam Barefoot in CO, and Andy Barefoot in CA; nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; siblings: Cassandra and David Thomas.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Holes.

Carol graduated from Lock Haven High School and earned an AS in Business Management.

She retired from Skills of Altoona after 20 years as an administrator.

Carol was a member of First UMC Hollidaysburg.

She enjoyed being outdoors and loved animals.

Friends will be received from 10-11am Wednesday June 4, 2025, at FUMC Hollidaysburg, where a memorial will follow at 11am.
