Charles W. Gresham, 76, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Dodge City, KS, son of the late Alvie and Zora (Birney) Gresham.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Linda (Steele); a son, Jeremy of Hollidaysburg; two granddaughters: Jesip and husband, Garrick, and Kaitlyn; three grandsons: Christopher, Andrew, and Ethan; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Ann Adams; and his cowboy cousins in KS. He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice McCarty, and a niece, Tammy Jean Hamilton.
He graduated from Bucklin High School in 1964, Kansas State University with a BS in Vocational Agriculture, then earned a Masters Degree in Education from Wichita State University.
Chuck served in the US Navy aboard the USS Willard Keith. He retired from McLanahan Corp. as a welding fabricator after 14 years service.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, and deer hunting.
Friends will be received from 3-5pm on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 5pm. Rev Dr. John A. Godissart officiating.
