Charles “Tom” Weyandt, 82, of Duncansville, passed away Monday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Audrey (Webb) Weyandt. He married Nancy Morrisey, who preceded him in death in 1985.
Surviving are a son, Barry and wife Sandy of Bellefonte; two brothers: Frank and Kevin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey.
Tom graduated from Altoona High School in 1961 and served in the US Army .
He worked as an engine builder and tuner, and retired from Fleming Foods in the Maintenance Dept.
Tom was an avid member of the Altoona RC Flying Club, and the Teamsters Local 8.
He enjoyed building and flying RC airplanes, landscaping, NASCAR, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
There will be no public services.
