Charles Arthur Wirth, 73, of Duncansville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday. He was born in Pittsburgh, son of the late Arthur J. Wirth and Ellen M. (Flemming) Chisholm. He married Debra Neff on August 11, 1979.
Surviving are his wife; four daughters: Karen Lynn Wirth (Scott Snyder), Wendi Sue Wirth, Misty Lynn Archdeacon (John), and Christina Marie Kreider (Bradd); 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Ellen Wirth and Barbara Coudriet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Arthur Jr. “Chuckie” and Arthur John “AJ”; and a brother Edward.
Charles worked as a general contractor and truck driver.
He attended the Well of Blair County Ministry Center at Spring of Hope, where he was a long-time member.
Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and feeding squirrels and chipmunks.
Friends will be received on from 10 – 11am on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Well of Blair County, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 11am with Rev. Dr. John A. Godissart officiating. There will be a meal of fellowship following the service.
