Charles E. Yon, 69, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Mary (Moyer) Yon. He married Nancy Stotler Smith in 2000.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years; a daughter, Amy Whaley; siblings: Steve and a Lori; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Chuck graduated from Somerset HS and served in the USMC.
He retired as a Boat Tech.
Chuck enjoyed fishing, hunting, and model airplanes.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
