Charley Smouse Obituary
March 12, 1946 – July 16, 2021
Charley E. Smouse, 75, of Canoe Creek, passed away at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles D. and Mary F. (Kissell) Smouse. He married Barbara C. Soldenwagner in 1968.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years; a daughter, Cherie L. Smith of Canoe Creek; a granddaughter, Caitlan; a great-granddaughter, Danica; siblings: Colleen Baughman, Earl, Dennis, and Darrin.
Charley attended Altoona High School and served in the USMC. He retired from Conrail as a machinist.
Charley was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Horseman’s Club. He enjoyed horses and camping.
At Charley’s request, there will be no public services at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
