Charlie J. Ray, 22, of East Freedom, passed away Wednesday at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of Barry and Terri (Pine) Ray.
Surviving are his parents of East Freedom; grandmothers: Patricia Ray and Dale Pine; two sisters: Jami Ray and Jadin Ray-Blanchard and husband Thomas; two brothers: James Ray and wife Brooke, and Jaret Ray; two nephews, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Charlie attended Central High School and worked for AWS Concrete.
He enjoyed helping others, being outdoors and using his hands, canning vegetables with his “old man” and uncle, and welding gifts for his family.
Friends will be received from 12-2pm and 4-6pm on Tuesday Sept 10, 2024 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 10am Wednesday.
