Charlotte E. (Gates) Tremmel, 66, of Ashville, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles and Anna M. (Nagle) Gates. She married Charles M. Tremmel in 1973, he preceded her in death 2015. Surviving are a daughter, Carrie Fagan of Dysart; a son, Michael of Ashville; a granddaughter, Brittany Tremmel; and two great-grandchildren: Bailey and Owen; a sister, Marlene Bowser; and brothers: Joseph and Robert Gates.

Charlotte attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and she enjoyed sewing and baking.

There will be no public services. Cremation service by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.
