Chayada "Amee" Seeya

Chayada “Amee” Seeya, 18, of Hollidaysburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. She was born in Mae Hong Son, Thailand, daughter of Bay and Michele (Rossman) Seeya.

Surviving are her parents of Hollidaysburg; her birth parents, Ataapha Laomee and Meetha Laolee in Thailand; a sister, Emma Saralai Seeya of Hollidaysburg; two biological siblings: Ata and Raathapat Laolee in Thailand; a niece and nephew in Thailand; and grandparents, uncles, aunties, and cousins here in America.

Amee was studying in 11th grade at Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. She loved playing baseball with the Blair County Miracle League and riding horses with Dreams Go On.

Amee attended youth group at the West Loop Missionary Church, Hollidaysburg and Sunday services at New Life Community Church, Altoona.

She loved horses, watching Pirate ball with Pappy, and playing her Wii.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3pm Sunday November 26, 2023, at West Loop Missionary Church, Hollidaysburg, where a Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 3pm, followed by a fellowship meal at the church.
