Cheryl A. (Barnes) Forshey

May 28, 1956 – March 17, 2025

Cheryl A. (Barnes) Forshey, 69, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late John and Vivian (Leach) Barnes. She married Larry Forshey Sr., who preceded her in death in 2019 after sharing 50 years together.

Surviving are a daughter, Angela Forshey of Hollidaysburg; a son, Michael Forshey; four grandchildren; and numerous other family members.

She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Forshey Jr.

Cheryl graduated from Tyrone HS and later from St. Francis University with her nursing degree.

She loved music and church.
