Christina A. (McChessney) Mowery, 49, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Mary E. (Blackstone) Miller and Walter G. McChessney Jr.

Surviving are three children: Alan, Billy, and Cherokee; a granddaughter, Emily; her mother and step-father, Jack Miller of Hollidaysburg; her father of Huntingdon; a sister, Elizabeth McChessney; a brother, Mark McChessney and wife Kimberly; a step-brother Gregg Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter “Bear” McChessney III.

Chrissy enjoyed listening to music and getting her nails done. She collected unicorns and angels.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation service by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
