Claudia L. (Harryman) Gheen, 56, of Altoona, formerly of Manassas, VA, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Baltimore, daughter of the late Richard C. and Nancy (Wilson) Harryman.

Surviving are five children: Victoria Fewell, Douglas Fewell (Samantha), Rachelle Fewell (Carlos), Erica Gheen (Jillian), and Ronald Gheen (Emily); ten grandchildren: Ethan, Noah, Aiden, Elizabeth, Rosaline, Devin, Kenny, Emma, Michael, and Robby; several great grandchildren; siblings: Tracey Harryman, Stuart Harryman (Ann), Lisa McDaniel, Fay Sprouse, and Bill Harryman (Lisa); numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Farrell Dennis.

She was preceded in death by a niece, Crystal Nicole McDaniel; a brother-in-law, Paul Wszalek; and her first husband, Douglas “Tinker” Fewell.

Claudia loved music, going to concerts, and spending time with her grandchildren. She dedicated her life to being a mother.
