Cynthia Katherine Recker

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia (Kaye) Katherine Recker, 80, of Duncansville, PA, unexpectedly on January 13, 2026.

Kaye graduated in 1963 from Newman Catholic High School in Mason City, Iowa. She was married on June 18, 1967, in West Lafayette, Indiana, and was the proud mother of four children, to whom she devoted her life.

She balanced motherhood with the challenges of raising four children through many relocations tied to her husband’s work. No matter where she lived, she made every house a home. She was known for her love of order and keeping everything just so.

She found great joy in playing Bingo, where she made many friends and shared many laughs. She had a great sense of humor—you never knew what she would say next, and it always made you smile.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Denise (Ken), Melisa (Jack), and Sara (Greg); and her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas (Caroline), Kailyn (Anthony), Bret (Kara), Megan (Joseph), Emily, and Luke, who lovingly called her "Goose”.

Kaye was preceded in death by her beloved son, Frank Recker; her parents, Ivan (Gene) and Alice Waskowiak Seley; her former husband, Dennis Recker; and her sisters, Sharen Demerly and Joan Klien.

A private family service will be held to honor and celebrate her life.
