Daniel W. Walk Sr.

Daniel W. Walk Sr., 66 of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at his residence after a brief illness.  He was born in Altoona, son of the late David Walk and Jean E. (Harbaugh).  He married Patricia Robertson in 1974.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years; a daughter, Danicia Walk and husband Taven Hinish of Duncansville; four sons: Daniel Jr. of Hollidaysburg, Patrick and wife Megan of Roaring Spring, Douglas and wife Shawna of Elizabethtown, Paul and wife Jen of Altoona; 13 grandchildren, a great grandson; brothers: Jim Walk and Randy Dukeman; and a sister-in-law, Alane Walk.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Walk.

Dan graduated from Bellwood High School in 1974.  He was planning to retire on Dec 7 from Small Tube Products after 46 years in Quality Control.

Dan enjoyed bowling, RV’ing, and spending time at his hunting camp.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Friends will be received from 1-4pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.  A funeral service will be held at 11am Monday at Faith Baptist Church, Altoona.  Interment at Logan Valley Cemetery.
