David L. McIntyre

David L. McIntyre, 78, of East Freedom, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Clyde and Alma (Brouhle) McIntyre.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon; and two daughters: LeeAnn Christen (Dave) and Susan McIntyre.

Dave graduated in 1961 from Hollidaysburg Area High School and from Williamsport Tech in 1965.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was then employed by AT&T for over 30 years.

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his time spent at camp. He helped out with various groups and organizations in the Kettle Creek valley.

Friends and family will be received from 1-3 and 5-7pm Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
