David W. Yingling Sr., 77, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Claire and Dorothy (Mosel) Yingling, He married Helen Mutzabaugh in 1970.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years; two sons: David Jr. and wife, Karen and Stephen and wife, Megan; 10 grandchildren: Victoria, Tyler, Nick, Alexis, Samantha, Jake, Josh, Aubrey, Levi, and Stephen; five great-grandchildren: Kynstin, Alesia, Barrett, Irvin, and Kylah; and a brother, Denny.
He was preceded in death by two sons: Mark and Timmy.
David graduated from Hollidaysburg High School and served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of The Well of Blair County.
David enjoyed hunting, The Steelers, and being with his grandkids.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6pm, Friday, November 21, 2025 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 6pm with Rev Dr. John A. Godissart officiating.
