Dean G. McCaulley, 91, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday at his residence.
He was born in Bellwood, son of the late Raymond C. and Martha (Hamilton) McCaulley. He married Betty Pearl Hunt in 1949, and she preceded him in death in 2014.
Surviving are a son, Dean L. and wife, Betty A.; three grandchildren: Sarah M. Tauber, Richard D., and Tyler R., all of Altoona; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Dean retired as a car repairman from Conrail. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and grandsons, and he was an avid Steelers fan.
He served in the US Army in Germany during WWII, then during the Korean Conflict.
All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg. Interment at Blair Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family.
