Deloris L. (Frazer) Mentzer Garrison

Deloris L. (Frazer) Mentzer-Garrison, 94 of Duncansville, passed away Saturday at her residence.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Irwin and Hazel (Cruthers) Frazer.  She married William G. Garrison, who preceded her in death in 1997.

Surviving are a stepson, Gary of Port Matilda; a daughter-in-law, Jean Mentzer of Mars; a son-in-law, Dave Markey; seven grandchildren: Brian, Michael, Russ, Wendy, Travis, Gary, Richelle; and many great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Timberly Markey; a son, Michael Mentzer; a step-daughter, Connie Garrison; and a granddaughter, Erin Mentzer.

“Wack” graduated from Hollidaysburg High School and was proprietor of the former Broad Street Market in Hollidaysburg.

She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening.  She also enjoyed being a care giver for seniors.

Friends will be received 4-6pm Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 6pm.
