Dennis “Head” W. Walters, 76, of Duncansville, entered the gates of Heaven into the arms of Jesus on Sunday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Lloyd and Edith (Sorge) Walters. He married Bonnie Williams in 1967.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years; three sons: Kevin (Marechel), Tim (Julie), and Brad (Sherry); eight grandchildren: Jake, Hunter, Audrey, Ben, Rachael, Zach, Elijah, and Ezra; eight great grandchildren: Kaiden, Payton, Hayden, Ava, Jace, Isaac, Ava, and Rosalynn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by siblings: Elizabeth, Dick, Nora, Linda, Winnie, Tom, and Paul; and a grandson, Malachi.
Denny graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1966 and served in the US Army. He enjoyed attending Grace Family Bible Church and playing in the brass choir.
Denny loved his children, grandchildren, his dog, Buster, and his pastor.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11am on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Grace Family Bible Church, Duncansville, where a memorial service will follow at 11am. Pastor James Zaebst, officiating.
