Dolores M. (Whetstine) (Socie) Limrick, 89, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles and Daisy May (Curry) Whetstine. She first married Robert L. Socie, who preceded her in death in 1986. She then married Robert L. Limrick, who also preceded her in death.
Surviving are five sons: Robert D. Socie and wife, Linda, Randy A. Socie and wife Debbie, Kenneth P. Socie and wife, Kathy, Timothy L. Socie, and Steven M. Socie and wife, Rhonda; 21 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; two stepchildren: Craig and Beth Ann; and a brother, Robert E. Whetstine.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Christie Socie and a stepson, Chris.
Dolores worked at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg for 22 years. She attended Lakemont United Methodist Church.
All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
Interment at Alto Reste Park.
