Donald E. Miller, 70, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at Conemaugh Nason Hospital. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Walter and Gladys (Glunt) Miller. He married Maureen Lascoli in 1970.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years; a daughter, Renee Hovan and husband Dr. Edward of Hollidaysburg; a son, Donald E. II and wife Misty of Hollidaysburg; two grandchildren: Donald E. III and Riley Renee. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Don graduated from Altoona High School and retired from Norfolk Southern as a carman/welder. He then worked as a driver for Med Van Transport.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, golfing, and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Friends will be received from 1-4pm on Saturday Jan 8, 2022 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm with Pastor Jim Snyder officiating.
Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
