Donald Keith Weichel

Donald “Don” K. Weichel, 66, of Hollidaysburg, passed away on Wednesday at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of Dorothy (Pankhurst) and the late Donald Weichel.

Surviving are his mother, of Duncansville; two sisters: Denise Badorrek and husband, Heinz of Hollidaysburg and Diane Jackson and husband, Mike of Duncansville; two brothers: David, in MT and Darryl of Duncansville; three nieces: Daina, Michelle, and Sarah; a nephew, Joshua; and three great nieces: Kaelyn, Claudia, and Mayla. 

He was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and worked as an electrical mechanic at Electric Motor Supply.

Don enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing.

Friends will be received from 2-4pm Monday, February 3, 2025 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm.

Private interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.
