Dorothy I. (Shaffer) Anderson, 99, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday at Hillview Healthcare. She was born in Bedford, daughter of the late Quincy and Mary Jane (Crawford) Shaffer. She married James E. Anderson, who preceded her in death in 1994.

Surviving are three sons: David (Ginny) in NC, Thomas (Kippie) in NJ, and Richard (Claudia) of Hollidaysburg; four grandchildren: Amy Lynn, Rebecca, Julie, and Brent; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

Dorothy was a long-time member of Hollidaysburg FUMC and Delphi Chapter 65 OES.

She was an avid reader.

All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Interment at Presbyterian Cemetery.
