Dorothy J. Henry

March 12, 1945 - March 4, 2024       

Dorothy J. Henry, 78, of Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Albert Sr. and Marion (Ebersole) Yohn. She married James C. Henry who preceded her in death in 1999.

She is survived by five daughters: Glory Kirk (Fred), Donna Aucoin (Robert), Marion Mellott, Tammy March, and Wendy Henry; one son, Jamie Henry; 11 grandchildren: DJ Kramer, Brandon Kramer, Brandy Hile, Kyle Aucoin, Alisha Ritchey, Ashley Kurty, Kelsi Miller, Roscoe March, Felicia March, Chase Cook, and Alexis Cook; two great grandchildren: Luke Hile and Malcolm Cook; and a twin brother, John Yohn Sr.            

She was preceded in death by siblings: Donald Sr., Albert Jr., Shirley McFadden, Barbara Fink, Linda Chappel, Virginia Thomas, and Lillian Thompson.

Dorothy loved reading, cooking for others, playing games, and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6pm Friday, March 8, 2024, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 6pm.
